After the roaring success of Naan Mahaan Alla, Karthi is currently busy with his next film Siruthai, which is expected to grace theatres for Pongal 2011.
The film, produced by Studio Green K. Gnanavelraja andfeaturing music by Vidyasagar, is currently in its filming stage and scheduled for a January 2011 Pongal release. Siruthai is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film, directed by Siva A remake of the Telugu blockbuster Vikramarkudu,directed by S. S. Rajamouli, it stars Karthi, performing dual roles, and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. The film, produced by Studio Green’s K. Gnanavelraja and featuring music by Vidyasagar, is currently in its filming stage andscheduled for a January 2011 Pongal release. Siruthai is a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu’.It isdirected by Tollywood filmmaker Shiva,his Kollywood debut will be ‘Siruthai’, which has Tamannah opposite Karthi. Comedy portion will be taken care of by Santhanam.
