Karthi’s father Sivakumar has issued a press statement on April 27th through his PRO about karthi marriage.

Karthi carrier is going great guns and his last movie Siruthai has become the biggest hit of 2011 so far. Karthi’s next movie is Sakuni.

Siruthai MP3 songs were released today, 19th December 2010 under Venus Music label in Chennai.
After the roaring success of Naan Mahaan Alla, Karthi is currently busy with his next film Siruthai, which is expected to grace theatres for Pongal 2011.
The film, produced by Studio Green K. Gnanavelraja andfeaturing music by Vidyasagar, is currently in its filming stage and scheduled for a January 2011 Pongal release. Siruthai is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film, directed by Siva A remake of the Telugu blockbuster Vikramarkudu,directed by S. S. Karthi’s next film is Siruthai

Actor Karthi’s next film is Siruthai and the movie is being directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Siruthaifeatures Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles while karthi plays dual roles in the movie.Siruthai is being produced by Studio Green’s K. Gnanavelraja and featuring music by Vidyasagar.

Siruthai film is a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster Vikramakudu featuring Ravi Teja in dual roles with Anushka as the female lead character.

The original version has Ravi Teja enacting dual roles as police officer and other one as a petty thief while Jyothika played wife’s role of cop. However, not an even single scene brings Ravi Teja and Jyothika together as she is portrayed as his dead wife.

Siruthai is currently in its production stage and expected to release on 23rd Dec 2010.

Karthi's NMA in Telugu

Tamil actor Karthi's Naan Mahaan Alla will be soon dubbed in Telugu.

While talking about the film's response, director Suseenthiran said: "I've visited several theatres in the last two weeks and found the audience clapping hard during the climax. Now, I'm planning to dub and release the movie in Telugu." The director also said that he was pleasantly shocked to see the villains being applauded more than the hero during the climax fight scene.

"The last 20 minutes is the highlight and the fight sequence was praised by all. Many asked me where I found those scary-looking boys. Interestingly, I found three of the five boys loitering on a popular road in the city. While the fourth guy had earlier acted in Nanda, the fifth villain is Vijay Milton's assistant. I was lucky to find people who suited the characters, right from the hero, Karthi, to all the villains," he added.

Karthi releases ‘Thaa’ tamil movie audio

Tamil movie industries top banner Shreya Film’s latest upcoming movie ‘Thaa’ audio released our young super star Karthi and was received by Samudrakani. The trailer was released by by K Bhagyaraj while RK Selvamani received it.

It is being directed by debutant RK Suryaprabhakar who was a previous associate of Samudrakani and produced by Rajesh Utthaman. The movie introduces all new faces that include Srihari playing the lead role while debutant Benito plays a negative role in the film. Nisha is playing the female lead. Srivijay, a Sri Lankan Tamil is composing the music.

While speaking at the event Samudrakani said, “I am very proud and happy that Surya Prabakar is directing his first film.”

Hero Karthi said, “I know the travails of doing a rustic makeover from a city boy since I too did it in my first film. The film looks like a sincere effort from a new team and it’s wonderful that new talent is coming to the fore in this way.”

Awaara Telugu Movie Story?

Siva (Karthi) is a guy with carelessness who had no goal in life falls in love with a girl named Charu Latha (Tamanna) at first sight. In order to grab her attention he acts as a cab driver. Charu is in trouble and Siva had to save her from the villains sent by her father who wants her to forcibly marry another person. Shiva likes the idea of spending some time with her in cab while saving her from villains. She asks him to take her to Mumbai and his past in that city catches up with him as he reaches Mumbai. How Siva attracts Charu and wins her love? forms the rest of the story with chases and fights in the middle.

Actors Performance:

Karthi’s performance was awesome and he has unique sweetness and innocence in his face though he looks rough. He learn Telugu and dub his own voice. His dancing was decent.

Tamanna is endearing as a girl in trouble. Sonia (Happy Days fame) did the role of one of friends of hero and she is good (she didn’t dub her voice). Milind Soman is alright as the villain. All other actors are of non-Telugu origin.

Technical Departments:

Director Linguswamy comes up with an engaging first half, but runs out of ideas in second half where he had to fill it up with continuous fights. Screenplay of the movie is very good except for the latter portion of the movie.

Music composed by Yuan Shankar Raja is nice. Most of the songs in this film are situational. Cinematography by Mathi is good. Dialogues are laced with humor. Editing by Anthony is adequate. Fights are well choreographed.

Fianl Cut:

First half of the movie is entertaining. Second half is little heavy with continuous fights. The plus points of the movie are engaging storytelling and the lead pair. On the flip side, the story line might prove to be too thin for a film of 2 and half hours of runtime. On a
whole, Awara is a decent road movie with adequate entertainment.

Karthi's double role in ‘Siruthai’

 

Kollywood B.O. King Karthi will be playing a double role for the first time in 'Siruthai', to be directed by Shiva, a much sought after filmmaker in Telugu.

The movie will be a remake of Tollywood hit ‘Vikramarkudu'. Tamannaah, who was paired up with Karthi in 'Paiyaa', would be the heroine in 'Siruthai'.

Studio Green, the producer of Karthi films 'Paruthi Veeran' and 'Naan Mahan Alla' produces the movie. Karthi has starred in just four films and all of them have been blockbusters. His latest release, 'Naan Mahan Alla', is running to packed houses all over south India.

Shiva's hits in Telugu include ‘Souryam’ and ‘Sankham’. Vidyasagar will be scoring the tunes in 'Siruthai'; Velraj is the cinematographer. It will be a big budget film, shot extensively in scenic foreign locales.
